In an impressive display of skill, Alvin Stredic Jr. led the charge for Mississippi Valley State in their 66-49 victory over the Mississippi University for Women on Thursday evening.
Stredic put up a solid performance, scoring 14 points and grabbing five rebounds, significantly aiding the Delta Devils, who improved their record to 1-1. Arthur Tate also made a notable contribution with 12 points, achieving an impressive shooting efficiency by hitting 5 of 6 attempts, including 2 of 3 from beyond the arc. Donovan Sanders rounded out the strong offensive effort, contributing 11 points while taking 4 of 7 shots from the field.
On the opposing side, Trent Walker was the leading scorer for the Owls, finishing the game with 12 points.
