OTTAWA, Ontario — In a competitive matchup on Thursday evening, Bo Horvat showcased his skills by contributing a goal and two assists, leading the New York Islanders to a 4-2 victory against the Ottawa Senators.
Anders Lee also made his mark for New York with both a goal and an assist, helping the team secure their third win in their last four outings. Other Islanders players who found the back of the net included Oliver Wahlstrom and Jean-Gabriel Pageau. The Islanders’ goalie, Semyon Varlamov, played a crucial role by making 28 saves throughout the game.
For the Senators, it was a late push in the third period as Nick Jensen and Drake Batherson managed to score. Tim Stutzle aided the offensive effort by recording two assists in the match.
