BALTIMORE — Late in the first half of Thursday evening’s matchup against Cincinnati, Baltimore’s safety Kyle Hamilton appeared to suffer a right ankle injury.
The standout defensive player exited the field, making his way into the tunnel after the incident.
Initially, the sight of Hamilton going down without any contact raised concerns about a severe impact on an already struggling Baltimore secondary; however, he was seen walking on his own afterwards, offering some relief to fans.
Currently in his third year in the league after playing at Notre Dame, Hamilton had recorded double-digit tackles in each of his last three games leading up to this one.
The potential impact of his injury on the team’s defense remains to be seen as updates are awaited.
