Pro Women’s Hockey League reveals new home and away uniforms for its upcoming second season

The Professional Women’s Hockey League (PWHL) has introduced the home and away jersey designs for its six franchises, showcasing them just over three weeks before the commencement of its second season.
These new uniforms, crafted and provided by Bauer, were revealed two months after the league announced the official names and logos for each of its teams. The jerseys prominently feature the team’s logos on the front, accompanied by stylish striping and designs that reflect the colors associated with each franchise.

The unveiling of the much-anticipated names and logos followed a period of tight deadlines; the league was established in late June 2023, with its inaugural games starting on January 1. During the first season, due to these time constraints, the PWHL referred to each team with a PWHL prefix. The Minnesota franchise, for instance, was labeled PWHL Minnesota, proudly capturing the first Walter Cup championship in May.

Amy Scheer, the senior vice president of business operations for PWHL, expressed enthusiasm about the new uniforms, stating, “Players and fans alike have been waiting for this moment, and we couldn’t be happier with the six unique looks each team will don moving forward. These jerseys signify a pivotal step in our league’s evolution, and we eagerly anticipate seeing them on the ice and in the arena.”

The second season of the PWHL is set to kick off on November 30 and will run until May 3, with an expanded schedule of 30 games — an increase from the 24 games played in the previous season.
In conjunction with the uniform reveal, the league shared a series of images highlighting players adorned in their respective dark and white jerseys.

The Boston Fleet’s home uniform features a distinctive “B” emblem against a deep green backdrop, enhanced by oceanic blue details on the shoulders, sleeves, and waist area.
The Minnesota Frost’s jersey embraces a dark purple base, showcasing the team’s “F” logo along with light purple highlights.
The Montreal Victoire’s home jersey stands out in burgundy attire, highlighted by a five-sided white logo and navy blue shoulder patches. Each numbers bears a fleur-de-lys motif, symbolizing the team’s French heritage.

For the New York Sirens, the home jersey includes a navy blue color scheme offset by orange and grey, complemented with dark shoulder patches that feature a hexagonal logo prominently displayed on the chest.
Meanwhile, the Ottawa Charge’s home uniforms are vibrant red, complete with light grey shoulder patches and yellow striping, proudly featuring their “O” logo.
Finally, the Toronto Sceptres sport home jerseys with a “TS” logo featured in yellow on a rich blue background, incorporating ornamental designs from the emblem on the jersey numbers.
