SACRAMENTO, Calif. — On Tuesday, the Sacramento State Hornets displayed a dominant performance, achieving a resounding victory over Cal Maritime with a final score of 106-44.
EJ Neal was a standout player for the Hornets, contributing significantly with 16 points, alongside five rebounds, five assists, and three steals.
Equaling Neal’s scoring effort, teammate Jacob Holt also netted 16 points while grabbing five rebounds. Alex Kovatchev followed closely with 13 points, showcasing his shooting skills by making 5 of 10 attempts from the floor, including 2 of 5 from beyond the arc.
For Cal Maritime, Jake Matteson emerged as the leading scorer for his team, finishing the game with 12 points and collecting seven rebounds.
