Republican Representative Keith Self has successfully secured reelection for a U.S. House seat in Texas as of Tuesday.
Self, who previously served as a lieutenant colonel in the Army and as a county judge, triumphed over Democrat candidate Sandeep Srivastava, thus earning a second term in Congress.
In his current role, Self is a member of both the Committee on Veterans’ Affairs and the Committee on Foreign Affairs, actively participating in critical legislative discussions.
Texas’ 3rd Congressional District, which he represents, is situated in the northeastern part of Dallas and encompasses various suburban areas, including Frisco, Plano, and McKinney.
The announcement of his victory was made at 9:36 p.m. EST, solidifying his position for another congressional term.
