Republican Congressman Chuck Fleischmann secured his reelection for a U.S. House seat that represents Tennessee on Tuesday.
Fleischmann has been serving the 3rd District of the Volunteer State since 2011, a district that primarily encompasses Chattanooga while also extending into parts of East Tennessee.
In this election, Fleischmann triumphed over Democrat Jack Allen along with independent candidates Jean Howard-Hill and Stephen King.
Back in 2020, Fleischmann was one of 126 Republican members of Congress who endorsed an amicus brief supporting a lawsuit that disputed the results of the presidential election, although the U.S. Supreme Court dismissed the case.
The official announcement of Fleischmann’s victory was made by the Associated Press at 9:11 p.m. EST.
