Republican Representative Ben Cline secured his position in the U.S. House by winning reelection for a fourth consecutive term in Virginia’s 6th District on Tuesday. Cline triumphed over Democratic challenger Ken Mitchell, who has served as a veteran in both the Air Force and Army. Cline initially entered Congress in 2018 after spending 16 years in the Virginia state Legislature. He has consistently performed well in his previous elections, achieving over 60% of the vote in each of his first three congressional campaigns.

Virginia’s 6th District is known for its strong Republican inclination, covering the scenic Shenandoah Valley from Winchester down to Roanoke. At 9:04 p.m. EST, Cline’s victory was officially announced.
