AUSTIN, Texas — Republican Representative Roger Williams has secured reelection to the U.S. House, representing Texas’ 25th Congressional District. This victory marks his seventh term in office for a district that encompasses sections of Fort Worth and extends into the rural areas of West Texas.

As the chair of the House Committee on Small Business, Williams continues to advocate for matters affecting small enterprises in the region. His tenure in Congress has been marked not just by policy decisions but also by significant personal experiences. In 2017, during a practice for the congressional baseball game, he was present when a gunman opened fire. Although he managed to avoid serious injury, he sustained an ankle injury while attempting to take cover. Tragically, one of his staff members was among those who were injured in the attack.

Williams’s dedication to his constituents and ongoing commitments to small business issues have solidified his standing within the party and the district he represents. His success in the recent election underscores the support he has garnered over the years from voters in the area.
