Democratic Representative Maxwell Frost has successfully secured reelection for a U.S. House seat in Florida.
Frost, who holds the distinction of being the youngest member in the House, initially captured this seat in 2022 at the age of 25, marking a historic moment as the first member of Generation Z to join Congress.
Known for his advocacy in gun reform and social justice, Frost won the three-person primary contest earlier this year with relative ease.
In the general election, he faced off against Republican challenger Willie Montague and ultimately emerged victorious, continuing his representation of the Orlando-area district.
The announcement of Frost’s victory was made at 7:15 p.m. EST.
