GLENDALE, Calif. — Tito Jackson has been interred at the same cemetery as his brother Michael and his father, Joe Jackson.

The celebrated singer and guitarist, known for his contributions to the iconic Jackson 5 and later the Jacksons, was laid to rest on Monday at Forest Lawn Memorial Park located in Glendale, California. This solemn event came approximately seven weeks after Tito’s passing at the age of 70. He had been residing in Claremore, Oklahoma at the time of his death.

Numerous outlets captured images of mourners who attended the burial, including Tito’s siblings Marlon and La Toya Jackson, along with Michael’s children, Paris and Bigi Jackson.

Tito Jackson passed away on September 15, with his sons announcing the news on Instagram. His death marks the loss of the second sibling from the nine Jackson brothers and sisters, following the death of Michael in 2009 at the age of 50. Tito Jackson was the third child born to Joe and Katherine Jackson, who is now 94 years old and is among the family members who survive him.

Michael Jackson rests in a mausoleum at the same cemetery in proximity to Los Angeles, a location also chosen by notable figures such as Elizabeth Taylor and Walt Disney for their final resting places.

Joe Jackson was laid to rest there in 2018, continuing the family’s connection to this significant site.
