LAS CRUCES, N.M. – In a commanding performance, New Mexico State triumphed over New Mexico Highlands with a score of 93-57 on Monday evening.

Robert Carpenter played a significant role in the victory, contributing 18 points, along with five rebounds and three steals. His efforts were complemented by Christian Cook, who added 15 points to the scoreboard, shooting 5 of 11, including 5 for 9 from beyond the arc. Zawdie Jackson also made his mark, finishing the game with 14 points, shooting 4 for 9 overall, hitting 2 of 3 from three-point land, and converting 4 of 6 from the free-throw line, alongside five assists and four steals.
