MURRAY, Ky. — In an impressive season opener, Kylen Milton led the Murray State Racers to a commanding 113-37 victory over Bethel (TN) on Monday evening.
Milton contributed significantly to the win, scoring 19 points with an efficient shooting performance. He made 7 of 9 attempts from the floor, hitting 2 of 4 from beyond the arc, and successfully converted 3 of 4 free throws.
Supporting Milton, Jacobi Wood added 17 points, finishing the game with 5 of 8 shooting from the field and 5 of 7 from the charity stripe. Justin Morgan also made his mark by scoring 16 points, delivering a solid shooting display with 6 of 11 from the field, including 4 of 7 from 3-point range.
On the other side, Brennon Marsh managed to score six points for Bethel, while Connor Guthrie and Daveonne Warfield each contributed five points to their team’s effort.
