FORT COLLINS, Colo. — In their season opener on Monday night, Colorado State showcased an impressive performance, defeating North Dakota with a score of 82-56, propelled by Nique Clifford’s standout contribution of 20 points.

Clifford’s efforts did not stop at scoring; he also recorded an impressive 14 rebounds, providing valuable support on both ends of the court. Keshawn Williams contributed significantly as well, hitting 6 out of 9 field goal attempts and sinking 2 out of 4 free throws, leading to a total of 14 points. Meanwhile, Kyle Jorgensen added nine points to the scoreboard, shooting 4 for 7 from the field, although he struggled with three-point shooting, going 0 for 3.

For North Dakota, Treysen Eaglestaff emerged as the leading scorer, managing 12 points during the game. Mier Panoam supported the team with 10 points and displayed defensive prowess by obtaining two steals. Amar Kuljuhovic also pitched in with a solid performance, ending the game with nine points.
