COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — Jacari Lane delivered an impressive performance, scoring 24 points and dishing out six assists, as North Alabama secured a 73-57 win against Air Force on Monday.

In addition to Lane’s standout play, Dallas Howell contributed significantly with 17 points, shooting 66.7% from the field (6 of 9) and excelling beyond the arc, making five out of eight attempts. Howell also grabbed five rebounds to aid his team’s efforts. Daniel Ortiz added 12 points to the mix, although he struggled somewhat with his shooting, connecting on four of 15 attempts, with four of those coming from three-point range.

For the Falcons, Ethan Taylor was the leading scorer with 30 points and pulled down eight rebounds, showcasing his skills on both ends of the court. Caleb Walker also played a pivotal role by contributing 12 points along with seven rebounds.

North Alabama took control of the game early, moving ahead with 18:44 remaining in the first half and holding onto their lead throughout. Lane was particularly effective in the opening half, netting 20 points and helping his team build a commanding 43-22 advantage by halftime.

In the second half, the Lions extended their lead even further, beginning with a quick 7-0 run that grew their advantage to 28 points. Although Air Force managed to outscore North Alabama by five points in the final period, it was not enough to overcome the deficit. Corneilous Williams made his impact felt in the second half, scoring all eight of his points during this time.
