MOBILE, Ala. — In a thrilling matchup on Monday evening, Kyler Vanderjagt came off the bench to propel Central Michigan to a narrow victory over South Alabama, finishing with a total of 16 points in a 74-70 win.

Vanderjagt had a remarkable shooting performance, hitting 4 out of 8 attempts from the field, including 3 of 6 from beyond the arc, while also converting all five of his free throw attempts. This effort was pivotal in aiding the Chippewas secure the victory.

In addition to Vanderjagt’s standout performance, Jakobi Heady made significant contributions with 14 points and eight rebounds. Teammate Anthony Pritchard also played a key role, scoring 12 points on 5 for 11 shooting, with one of his attempts from three-point land, while also dishing out six assists and recording six steals.

On the other side of the court, Myles Corey led the Jaguars with an impressive 20 points and 11 assists. Judah Brown contributed with 15 points, while Barry Dunning Jr. added another 14 points to the scoreboard for South Alabama.
