CHARLOTTE, N.C. — In an impressive season opener, Queens University triumphed over Lynchburg with a decisive 90-39 victory on Monday night.
Nasir Mann showcased his skills with a double-double, scoring 14 points while also securing 10 rebounds.
Yoav Berman contributed significantly to the scoring effort, hitting 5 of his 8 attempts from the field, including 2 out of 4 from beyond the arc, to finish with 13 points.
Additionally, Leo Colimerio added to Queens’ dominance, going 4 of 8 from the field and completing 2 of 3 attempts from three-point territory, resulting in a total of 12 points.
On the other side, the Hornets’ offense was led by Piercen Young, who managed to score 11 points while also grabbing seven rebounds and recording two steals.
Mason Makovec also made a contribution to the team’s scoreline with 10 points.
