KANSAS CITY, Mo.
— In an impressive performance, Jamar Brown scored 26 points to help UMKC secure a dominant 91-68 victory against Hannibal-La Grange on Monday evening.
In addition to his scoring prowess, Brown contributed significantly on defense, grabbing nine rebounds and making four steals for the Kangaroos.
Jayson Petty also played a key role in the game, finishing with 17 points. He recorded a shooting performance of 4 of 11 from the floor, including 3 of 10 from the three-point line, and successfully made 6 of 9 from the free-throw line.
Cameron Faas added to the team’s success with 15 points, shooting 5 out of 11 from the field, while showcasing his three-point shooting ability with 3 of 8 accuracy. He also went 2 of 3 from the free-throw line.
On the opposing side, the Trojans were led by Josh Talton, who managed to score 19 points.
Additionally, Kell Estep contributed to Hannibal-La Grange’s efforts, scoring 13 points and recording two steals during the game.
