PHILADELPHIA — During the recent matchup against Jacksonville, Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver A.J. Brown exited the game due to a knee injury.
The injury occurred after his last reception, which took place late in the first half. Prior to leaving the field, Brown recorded two catches for a total of 36 yards before it was determined he could not continue in the second half.
This season has been challenging for Brown as he previously missed three games due to a hamstring injury. His performance had been noteworthy, featuring two games where he surpassed the 100-yard mark. Leading up to the game against Jacksonville, he accumulated 21 receptions for 408 yards and found the end zone three times.
In the previous season, Brown showcased his talent with an impressive tally of 106 catches for 1,456 yards and seven touchdowns while playing for the Eagles. Since entering the NFL as a rookie with Tennessee in 2019, he has consistently ranked among the top receivers in the league. In April, Brown reinforced his commitment to the franchise by signing a three-year contract extension that included an impressive $84 million guaranteed.
