LOS ANGELES — Beginning in 2027, the Grammys will feature a new broadcast partner as they transition to ABC.
The network, in collaboration with the Recording Academy, revealed on Wednesday that they have finalized a 10-year contract to air the prestigious music awards ceremony, moving it from its long-standing home at CBS.
CBS has been the host of the Grammys since 1973, having taken over from ABC after a brief two-year period.
Before CBS, the initial 12 Grammy events were broadcasted by NBC.
Starting in 2027, ABC will also be the home for three significant live broadcasts: the Super Bowl, the Grammys, and the Oscars.
In addition to airing on the network, the Grammys will also be accessible for streaming on Hulu and Disney+.
This upcoming week, nominations for the 2025 Grammys will be disclosed, with the ceremony set to air on CBS on February 2.
