Ersson faced a close call about five minutes into the third period when a puck deflected off his skate and nearly crossed the goal line. However, he quickly reacted by flopping backward onto the puck, preventing a potential goal for the Bruins. This moment was crucial in maintaining the Flyers’ lead.
