CHICAGO — Lonzo Ball, who made his comeback with the Chicago Bulls this season following an extended hiatus due to leg injuries, has sustained a sprained right wrist and will be sidelined for at least the next ten days.
Ball suffered the injury during the first quarter of the Bulls’ 126-123 win against Memphis on Monday. Despite the setback, he managed to contribute for 18 minutes in the game, achieving six points and six assists.
On Tuesday, the Bulls announced that Ball will undergo further evaluation in ten days, with additional updates about his condition to be shared as they become available.
Last year, Ball underwent a cartilage and meniscus transplant in his left knee following multiple unsuccessful attempts to address his ongoing injury. His last game prior to this season was on January 14, 2022, before he made his return during the preseason.
