FRESNO, Calif. — In a compelling matchup on Saturday night, Fresno State secured a decisive 33-10 victory over San Jose State, highlighted by Mikey Keene’s impressive performance. Keene completed 30 of his 41 attempts, amassing 275 yards and connecting for three touchdown passes. He found Jalen Moss for two of those touchdowns, while Mac Dalena caught the other. Both Moss and Dalena had productive outings, each recording 85 yards through the air on a combined total of 11 receptions. On the ground, Elijah Gilliam contributed significantly, rushing for 56 yards and scoring a touchdown from one yard out.

Fresno State’s defense was instrumental in the win, as they recorded four interceptions throughout the game. Cam Lockridge stood out with two picks, while teammates Al’zillion Hamilton and Julian Neal each contributed with one interception apiece. Other San Jose State quarterbacks, Emmett Brown and Xavier Ward, collectively managed to complete 7 of 19 passes for 82 yards, but they too were hindered by an interception each.
