TAMPA, Fla. — Amir Abdur-Rahim, the head coach of South Florida’s basketball team who previously guided the Bulls to win the American Athletic Conference regular-season title last year, has tragically passed away at the age of 43. The university confirmed his death on Thursday, revealing that he succumbed to complications that arose during a medical procedure at a local hospital in Tampa.
