A recent Israeli airstrike targeted a school in the central Gaza Strip that was serving as a shelter for displaced individuals, resulting in the deaths of at least 16 people, as reported by local medical authorities.
The attack, which occurred on Thursday in the densely populated Nuseirat refugee camp, also left 32 others injured, according to medical officials at Awda Hospital, where many of the victims were taken for treatment.
While the incident has drawn significant attention, there has yet to be an official response from the Israeli military regarding the strike.
