TAMPA, Fla. — On Monday night, Mike Evans of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers left the game due to a hamstring injury after achieving a significant milestone in his career—his 100th career touchdown catch.

Evans made a spectacular 25-yard touchdown reception from Baker Mayfield during the team’s initial drive against the Baltimore Ravens. With this achievement, he entered an elite club, becoming one of the few players in NFL history—along with legends like Jerry Rice, Randy Moss, Marvin Harrison, and Terrell Owens—to secure 100 touchdown receptions within the first 11 seasons of their career.
Despite the impressive feat, the game took a turn for Evans, who had already missed two practice sessions the previous week due to an ongoing hamstring concern. Unfortunately, he seemed to further exacerbate the injury during his touchdown catch. Baker Mayfield attempted to connect with him in the end zone once again in the second quarter, but the pass slipped through Evans’ fingers while he was battling for position against Ravens cornerback Brandon Stephens.
Following the near miss, Evans was spotted lying on the field for several minutes, receiving assistance to get back on his feet before slowly making his way to the locker room. The Buccaneers later confirmed that he would not return to the game, leaving fans and teammates anxious about his condition for the rest of the season.
