Corey Kispert has reached an agreement with the Washington Wizards for a four-year contract extension valued at $54 million.
This confirmation was provided by his agents, Mark Bartelstein and Andy Shiffman, in an email on a Monday.
At the age of 25, Kispert’s new contract will see him earning an average of $13.5 million annually, starting with the 2025-26 NBA season.
Previously, he was under a rookie deal that amounted to $16 million total, following his selection as the 15th overall pick in the 2021 NBA Draft out of Gonzaga University.
Standing at 6 feet 7 inches and weighing 220 pounds, Kispert averaged 13.4 points per game last season while serving as a part-time starter for the Wizards.
Throughout his career, he has played 231 games in the league, all representing Washington.
