Highlighting the defensive effort was Luke Banbury, who made a significant impact by returning an interception for a touchdown. Banbury’s 26-yard pick-6 came from a pass thrown by Michael Hardyway. This defensive score was crucial, as it was part of a dominant first quarter where Cornell scored 21 points, showcasing their offensive and defensive prowess early on.
