Cricket Australia announced on Wednesday that the 2025-26 Ashes series between Australia and England will kick off in Perth, located in Western Australia.

The opening test match is slated to take place from November 21 to November 25, 2025, followed by a day-night fixture at the Gabba in Brisbane, set for December 4 to December 8.

After that, the third test will occur at Adelaide Oval from December 17 to December 21.

Continuing the tradition, the iconic Boxing Day test will be held at the Melbourne Cricket Ground starting December 26, and the grand finale, the fifth test, will occur at the Sydney Cricket Ground from January 4 to January 8.

As it stands, Australia is the current Ashes holder, having successfully retained the trophy after the 2023 series in England ended in a draw.
