England triumphs over Finland 3-1 following surprising defeat to Greece.

England returned to form by securing a 3-1 victory over Finland in the Nations League on Sunday.
After a surprising 2-1 defeat to Greece just days earlier, England managed to bounce back thanks to goals from Jack Grealish, Trent Alexander-Arnold, and Declan Rice in Helsinki.
This match marked the third win in four games under the interim management of Lee Carsley, who may have bolstered his chances for the role on a permanent basis.

The loss to Greece, where an experimental lineup was fielded, raised concerns about Carsley’s capabilities, and uncertainty about his suitability will continue despite the recent win.
However, had Finland, ranked 64th, finished their chances more effectively, the game could have posed more problems for the higher-ranked England.

Grealish started the scoring in the 18th minute at the Helsinki Olympic Stadium, capitalizing on a creative flick from Angel Gomes.
Alexander-Arnold then added the second goal with a signature free kick in the 74th minute, followed by Rice finding the net from a pass by substitute Ollie Watkins ten minutes later.
Finland managed to pull one back, with Arttu Hoskonen scoring a consolation goal in the 87th minute.

As it stands, England is positioned second in Group B2, trailing leaders Greece on goal difference while having played one game more.
