The Jacksonville Jaguars announced that tight end Evan Engram will participate in their match against the Chicago Bears at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this Sunday.
Engram, a two-time Pro Bowl player, has been sidelined with a hamstring injury for the previous four games but has now been cleared to play.
On the flip side, the Jaguars will be without several players due to inactivity, including defensive end Myles Cole, offensive linemen Javon Foster and Cole Van Lanen, along with defensive tackles Tyler Lacy and Jeremiah Ledbetter.
For the Bears, cornerback Tyrique Stevenson will not be playing following a calf injury sustained during Thursday’s practice.
Other players unable to compete for Chicago include safety Jaquan Brisker, who is dealing with a concussion, defensive lineman Zacch Pickens with a groin injury, defensive back Terell Smith (hip), as well as offensive lineman Nate Davis and wide receiver Velus Jones Jr., and defensive lineman Dominique Robinson.
This match is anticipated as both teams look to improve their standings, making the presence of Engram particularly significant for the Jaguars.
