Tigres del Licey and Águilas Cibaeñas are the two most successful teams in the history of the Dominican Winter League. Tigres have secured 24 championships, claiming the title in the last two seasons consecutively. On the other side, Águilas Cibaeñas has 22 championships under their belt, with their most recent victory in 2021.
