The team continued to excel in the second quarter with Collin Guggenheim and McQuaide’s impressive plays extending the lead to 45-0 by halftime. Brock and Warren added more touchdowns in the third quarter, with backup quarterback Jakob Foss joining in as well. McQuaide had a successful game with 184 passing yards, while Brock and Warren showcased their running abilities with 132 and 124 yards, respectively.

Mississippi Valley State struggled against Nicholls, with their three quarterbacks combining for six interceptions. Nathan Rembert was a standout player for Mississippi Valley State with six catches for 106 yards, but the team faced challenges rushing the ball, totaling negative yards. Nicholls’ dominant performance earned them a well-deserved victory, showcasing their strength on both offense and defense.
