Border Patrol Agent Accused of Demanding Women to Reveal Their Breasts

A U.S. border patrol agent in New York was taken into custody after allegedly compelling women to reveal their breasts, claiming it was a legitimate aspect of his job, officials reported. Shane Millan, the border agent, aged 53, was apprehended for allegedly violating the constitutional rights of four women who were entitled to be free from unjust searches, as revealed by the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of New York in a press statement.

Reportedly, Millan instructed three women to expose their chests to him via a webcam while processing their entry applications into the U.S. A fourth woman was allegedly directed to bare her breasts while wearing a bra during the incidents that occurred in August 2023.

The prosecutors claimed that Millan falsely informed the women that displaying their breasts was a necessary part of the U.S. entry procedure when, in reality, it was allegedly solely for his personal satisfaction. Following his arraignment in Syracuse before a federal magistrate judge, Millan was released pending trial.

An attempt to obtain a comment was made by sending a message to the federal public defender’s office in northern New York, which was the legal representation for Millan during his arraignment.
