Police in Istanbul have initiated a significant investigation following a shooting incident that resulted in the death of a Palestinian individual and left two others injured while they were inside a car. According to authorities, the perpetrator left a handgun equipped with a silencer at the scene of the crime. The tragic event took place on Dilaver Street in the Kagithane district of northern Istanbul late on Sunday.

Reports indicate that the individual in the driver’s seat was fatally shot, while his companion sustained severe injuries. The Istanbul Governor’s Office revealed that another man, identified as the deceased individual’s bodyguard, suffered a foot injury during the attack. The assailant, or assailants, wore masks during the shooting, as reported by the Demiroren News Agency. The wounded victim is reported to be a businessman.

Photographs from the scene displayed a semi-automatic handgun with a silencer found next to a white sedan parked between two other vehicles. The rear passenger door of the white car exhibited several bullet holes. The Governor’s Office in Istanbul confirmed the incident and announced a wide-ranging investigation into the shooting incident.
