In another move earlier in the day, the Oilers acquired Russian right wing Vasily Podkolzin from the Vancouver Canucks by trading Ottawa’s fourth-round pick in 2025. Podkolzin, 23 years old, tallied two assists in 19 regular-season games and participated in two playoff games for Vancouver last season.
