During Nottingham Forest’s Premier League match against Bournemouth, midfielder Danilo sustained a serious injury to his left leg. The Brazilian player had to be stretchered off the field after an awkward landing while challenging Bournemouth striker Antoine Semenyo in the seventh minute at the City Ground. Medical staff quickly attended to Danilo behind screens as his teammates and the referee called for assistance. After almost six minutes of treatment, Danilo was carefully carried off the field to applause from the spectators. The match was tied 0-0 at the time of the injury. Danilo had joined Nottingham Forest from Palmeiras last year.
