Starbucks announced on Tuesday that CEO Laxman Narasimhan will be resigning from his position after serving for just over a year.
Brian Niccol, who currently holds the position of chairman and CEO at Chipotle, will take over as Starbucks’ new chairman and CEO starting on September 9th.
Narasimhan assumed the role of CEO at Starbucks in March of 2023.
