Indian Mogul Already Owns Giant Wolfdog
S Sathish, 51, a well-known figure in India’s elite dog scene, has shocked the world with a vow to purchase what could become the most expensive dog ever. His plan? To fly the rare, donkey-sized animal into India via helicopter.
Sathish already owns a $5.6 million wolfdog named Cadaboms Okami. The eight-month-old beast weighs more than 75kg and is over 2.5 feet tall. The massive pup is a hybrid between a real wolf and a Caucasian Shepherd, making it a global rarity.
Helicopter Needed For £10M Arrival
The canine collector, who resides in Bangalore, said he has spent six months trying to acquire the new dog, which he describes as being the size of a donkey.
“This dog is the size of a donkey. No one has seen it before,” he told The Sun. “I will launch it in April, and I will use a helicopter. It will cost me 100 crore rupees—that’s £10 million.” ($12.9M).
His plan to unveil what may be the most expensive dog ever has turned heads online and in India’s high society.
Rare Breeds Trump Cars And Mansions
Unlike other millionaires, Sathish pours his fortune into dogs instead of luxury homes or sports cars. He proudly states that his dogs are his real assets.
“I have no money in the bank because I reinvest it all in dogs,” he said. “I love when people stop and stare at them.”
His obsession with dogs started when he was six, eventually convincing his family to adopt 20 street dogs. That passion turned into a professional dog breeding career in 1989, which evolved into a luxury dog collection business.
Multi-Million Dollar Dog Collection
Over the years, Sathish has amassed over 150 rare breeds, including Tibetan Mastiffs, Alaskan Malamutes, and Korean Mastiffs. Ten years ago, he stopped breeding and began importing ultra-rare dogs from countries like Russia, China, the U.S., and Switzerland.
His most famous pooch, Okami, is currently housed in a secret location due to its size and strength. The animal’s massive paws, head bigger than a basketball, and sofa-like body make it unlike any other.
Sathish also owns a £2.5 million Chow Chow that resembles a red-and-white panda and a Caucasian Shepherd named Cadaboms Hayder.
Most Expensive Dog Gains Celebrity Status
These luxury pets aren’t just kept behind closed doors. Sathish parades his canines at high-end events, from movie premieres to religious ceremonies. At times, he earns up to £9,000 for a five-hour appearance with his animals.
“I am a crowd puller,” he said. “Even actors and politicians don’t get the attention I get.”
His flashy appearances have even earned him gifts like a £63,000 diamond necklace. Over time, he’s spent an estimated £10 million on dogs alone.
Critics Slam His Spending—But He Defends It
Despite the spotlight, Sathish has faced criticism from government animal welfare officials who’ve issued notices against him. But he insists all his dogs are cared for in comfort and luxury.
“I introduce unique dogs and bring India onto the global map, yet some people abuse me. But I don’t care—I love dogs and don’t harm them,” he said.
While he builds a reputation as the man behind the most expensive dog, Sathish continues his work rescuing street dogs across India, saying, “Loving dogs is in my blood.”
