In Adrian, Michigan, it was recently revealed by state police that the disappearance of Dee Warner, a Michigan woman who went missing over three years ago, has finally been solved. Tests confirmed that her remains were discovered on property belonging to her husband. State police announced on Wednesday that Dee Warner’s death has been classified as a homicide. Despite the positive identification of the remains and confirmation of the manner of death, the investigation is still ongoing.
Dee Warner, aged 52, was reported missing in April 2021. Following the discovery of her remains, her husband, Dale Warner, faced charges of murder and tampering with evidence in connection to her disappearance. He has entered a plea of not guilty. Dale Warner’s attorney did not provide any immediate comment on the matter when asked by reporters on Wednesday night.
Last week, state police disclosed that human remains were found in Lenawee County, situated about 70 miles southwest of Detroit. Family members of Dee Warner informed news outlets that the remains were located inside a sealed, empty tank, typically used for crop fertilizer. Greg Hardy, Dee’s brother, recounted to WDIV-TV that the body was placed inside the tank under cover of darkness in a building lacking security cameras. The tank’s end cap was replaced, and it was entirely sealed shut with welding.
