Reese, Clark clash at Sky-Fever game in United Center

CHICAGO — Angel Reese and Caitlin Clark, two standout athletes from the WNBA, are set to face off in a larger venue as the Chicago Sky relocate their games against the Indiana Fever to the United Center this season.

Originally scheduled for Wintrust Arena, which seats 10,387 spectators, the games will now take place at the United Center—home to the NBA’s Bulls and NHL’s Blackhawks—which boasts a capacity of 20,917. These pivotal matchups in Chicago are slated for June 7 and July 27, with the latter being rescheduled by a day due to the venue change. Importantly, these will mark the first WNBA games ever hosted at the United Center.

The Sky and Fever will also clash in Indianapolis on three occasions: during their season opener on May 17, and then again on August 9 and September 5.

Clark, who secured the Rookie of the Year title last season, alongside Reese, has significantly uplifted the profile of the WNBA, with both attendance and viewership seeing a notable rise. The rivalry between Reese and Clark is well-established, tracing back to their collegiate days when LSU defeated Iowa in the 2023 national championship.
