LAS VEGAS — On Saturday evening, Colorado State secured a victory against UNLV with a score of 61-53, thanks to a strong performance from Nique Clifford, who contributed a double-double with 14 points and 14 rebounds.
In addition to his rebounding prowess, Clifford also dished out five assists, showcasing his versatile skill set. Kyan Evans complemented the effort by also scoring 14 points while providing five assists for the Rams, who now hold a record of 18-9 and are 12-4 in the Mountain West Conference. Jaylen Crocker-Johnson made his mark on the game by sinking two three-pointers and finishing with 10 points.
For the Rebels, who now stand at 14-13 overall and 8-8 in conference play, Jailen Bedford emerged as the top scorer with 17 points alongside four assists. Jeremiah Cherry followed closely behind, adding 16 points and grabbing six rebounds. Jalen Hill contributed with 10 points, eight rebounds, and two steals, helping keep the game competitive, but ultimately UNLV fell short in their efforts.
