SAN DIEGO — Aniwaniwa Tait-Jones showcased an impressive performance, scoring 19 points as UC San Diego secured their ninth consecutive victory with a dominant 83-44 win against Hawaii on Saturday night.
In addition to his scoring contributions, Tait-Jones also collected five rebounds for the Tritons, who now hold a record of 24 wins and 4 losses, along with 14 wins and 2 losses in the Big West Conference. Tyler McGhie supported the team’s efforts with 17 points, while Nordin Kapic also made an impact by sinking three 3-pointers to finish the game with 13 points.
For the Rainbow Warriors, who now have a record of 14-13 overall and 6-10 in conference play, Ryan Rapp was the standout player, leading the team with nine points. Harry Rouhliadeff contributed as well, adding eight points along with six rebounds to his tally.
