Bass contributes 19 points leading Lindenwood to a 93-92 overtime victory over Little Rock

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — In an exciting matchup on Thursday night, Reggie Bass led the Lindenwood Lions to a narrow victory over Little Rock, finishing with 19 points. His performance included hitting three crucial free throws during overtime, resulting in a final score of 93-92.

Little Rock managed to tie the game at 79 with a 3-pointer from Isaiah Lewis with just seven seconds remaining in regulation, sending the game into overtime. In the final moments of the extra period, Bass confidently sank all three of his free-throw attempts with two ticks left on the clock. Subsequently, Mwani Wilkinson of Little Rock missed a last-second three-point try, sealing the victory for Lindenwood.

Bass completed the game with a shooting record of 6 for 16 from the floor, which included 3 for 10 from behind the arc. He also converted 4 of 5 free throws. Additional support came from Jadis Jones, who scored 18 points after shooting 7 for 15, along with 4 of 8 free-throw shooting. Anias Futrell contributed to the Lions’ success with 17 points while making 6 of 12 shots, tying 4 of those from three-point range, in addition to eight rebounds and three steals.

On the other side, Johnathan Lawson was the standout for the Trojans, scoring 22 points, grabbing seven rebounds, providing five assists, and recording two blocks. His teammate Tuongthach Gatkek added 19 points and made a notable defensive impact with two blocks. Ante Beljan also contributed to the score with 14 points.

Both teams are set to take the court again this Saturday. Lindenwood will face Southeast Missouri State, while Little Rock will host Western Illinois.
