The Chicago White Sox have officially secured Michael A. Taylor for the upcoming season with a one-year contract valued at $1.95 million. This deal provides Taylor a solid base salary for the 2025 season.

In addition to his base salary, Taylor’s contract includes various performance bonuses that could significantly enhance his earnings. For each of the 50 and 75 game milestones he reaches, Taylor will receive a bonus of $25,000. If he manages to play in 100 or 125 games, those milestones will come with increased bonuses of $50,000 each.

Moreover, Taylor’s contract also rewards performance based on plate appearances. He will earn $25,000 for hitting the marks of 100, 150, 200, 250, 300, and 325 plate appearances throughout the season.

Additionally, the contract stipulates a $250,000 assignment bonus that will be triggered any time Taylor is traded, ensuring a substantial payout should the team decide to move him during the contract term.
