DAVIDSON, N.C. — In an exciting matchup on Tuesday night, Jayden Dawson showcased his talent by scoring 24 points, leading Loyola Chicago to a 77-69 victory against Davidson.
Dawson displayed an impressive shooting performance, hitting 7 of 13 shots from the field, including 5 out of 10 from beyond the arc, and converting 5 of 6 free throws. His efforts contributed significantly to the Ramblers’ record, improving them to 17 wins against 9 losses for the season, with an 8-5 standing in the Atlantic 10 Conference. Alongside Dawson, Des Watson added 15 points and secured four steals while Miles Rubin efficiently scored 14 points on 7 of 10 shooting.
On the other side, the Wildcats, now at 15 wins and 11 losses (5-8 in the conference), were led by Reed Bailey. Bailey had a notable game, finishing with 19 points, 14 rebounds, five assists, and two steals.
