Trump reveals Musk’s biggest fear in explosive Fox News interview

President Donald Trump revealed that Elon Musk believes the media is attempting to create a rift between them, as the two prepare for a high-profile interview with Sean Hannity on Fox News. In a teaser clip released ahead of the full interview, Trump claimed Musk personally reached out to discuss the alleged media strategy.

“I see it all the time. Actually, Elon called me and said, ‘You know they’re trying to drive us apart,’” Trump told Hannity. “I said absolutely. It’s obvious, they’re so bad at it.”

Fox News to air historic White House sit-down

The full interview, set to air Tuesday, will take place at the White House and focus on Musk’s role as the head of the newly certified Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE). The conversation is expected to touch on Musk’s aggressive moves to streamline government operations, eliminate bureaucracy, and reduce federal workforce redundancies.

Fox News has positioned this as a landmark interview, following Hannity’s recent exclusive with Trump. With mainstream networks like CBS, ABC, and NBC under scrutiny for alleged media bias, Fox has capitalized on its access to the administration.

White House denies reports of internal friction

Reports have surfaced suggesting tension between Musk’s DOGE and Trump’s Chief of Staff Susie Wiles, with claims that Wiles and her team feel left out of Musk’s strategic decision-making. However, Musk has strongly denied these allegations, stating that all DOGE actions remain fully transparent.

“The people voted for major government reform, and that’s what they’re going to get,” Musk stated. “All of our actions are maximally transparent.”

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt dismissed rumors of division, calling them “complete bulls***” and insisting that Musk takes direct directives from the president.

Musk’s growing influence in Trump’s administration

Tensions have seemingly emerged over their working style as Wiles called for more coordination and communication from Musks team Musk is seen here in the background

Musk has become a key figure in Trump’s inner circle, frequently attending high-profile meetings. Recently, he brought his son X Æ A-Xii to the White House for discussions with Trump and later met with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, accompanied by two of his children.

The highly anticipated interview will air Tuesday at 9 p.m. on Fox News, with Trump and Musk expected to discuss their shared vision for government reform, media manipulation, and the role of DOGE in reshaping federal operations.
