UC Irvine defeats Hawaii with a score of 66-49

HONOLULU — In a decisive matchup on Saturday night, UC Irvine emerged victorious over Hawaii with a final score of 66-49. Bent Leuchten was the standout player for the Anteaters, contributing 21 points, along with seven rebounds and four blocks.

The Anteaters improved their record to 22-4 overall and 12-2 in the Big West Conference. Devin Tillis also played a significant role in the game, scoring 15 points and grabbing seven rebounds. Jurian Dixon added to the team’s success by netting 10 points and shooting 4 of 9 from the field.

On the other side, the Rainbow Warriors struggled to find their rhythm, with Tanner Christensen leading their scoring efforts by finishing the game with 11 points. Ryan Rapp also made a notable contribution with 10 points and eight rebounds, while Gytis Nemeiksa chimed in with another 10 points.
