MILWAUKEE — Jonathan Kuminga, a forward for the Golden State Warriors, is showing signs of recovery from his sprained right ankle; however, he will not be able to make a swift return following the All-Star break.

Kuminga has been inactive since January 4th, and the Warriors have announced that he has begun on-court workouts. He is set to undergo a reevaluation in about ten days. The 6-foot-7 player is anticipated to take part in team practices once the All-Star festivities conclude.

The All-Star Game is set to take place this Sunday in San Francisco.

Warriors head coach Steve Kerr indicated that he does not expect Kuminga to play in the initial few games after the break, emphasizing caution in his return.

At just 22 years old, Kuminga has made a notable impact this season, averaging 16.8 points, 5 rebounds, and 2.2 assists in approximately 26 minutes over 32 games. He has also started in 10 of those games.
