FRESNO, Calif. — In an exciting matchup on Friday, Ian Martinez spearheaded Utah State’s victory over Fresno State, contributing a remarkable 30 points in their 89-81 triumph.
Martinez also showcased his versatility by grabbing eight rebounds, benefiting the Aggies, who improved to a record of 21 wins and 3 losses, with an 11-2 standing in the Mountain West Conference.
Alongside Martinez, Mason Falslev played a significant role, netting 16 points while shooting 50% from the floor (7 of 14). He also managed to contribute six rebounds and six assists, despite struggling a bit at the free-throw line, hitting only 1 of 6. Drake Allen chipped in with 10 points, making 5 of his 7 attempts from the field.
